Is it true that all solar panel manufacturers are based in Gujarat?

    Partially true as majority of the solar module makers are based in Gujarat, especially Surat. However, several solar panel factories are now spread on Greater Noida, Ambala, Uttarakhand and even Hyderabad.

    As per a latest MNRE notification, the residential rooftop setups under PM Surya Ghar are allowed to use hybrid inverters. The main benefit of using residential rooftop is storing the surplus solar power and using it when there is no power in the grid or at night.
