In India, only a few companies offer direct sales of solar panels to customers through e-commerce platforms. However, due to the availability of certain panel manufacturers, purchasing panels online is possible. The country has around 130 solar panel manufacturers, with approximately 95 registered under MNRE’s ALMM (Approved List of Models and Manufacturers).

Most module manufacturers do not sell solar panels directly to customers for rooftop solar projects. Instead, these panels are typically supplied by vendors who handle project installation. If you have a preference for a specific solar panel brand, you can request your vendor to source those panels or compatible inverters to meet your requirements. Vendors often have exclusive arrangements with manufacturers to supply these products. However, it is worth noting that many vendors offer only a limited selection of panel brands, restricting customer choices.

The structure holds your entire solar system together. Poor-quality mounting structures can collapse in high winds or storms, risking lives and damaging property—even if your solar panels and inverters are top-grade.

Colder regions, with their lesser issues of dust are also beneficial for solar generation. Remember, solar energy is generated by light falling on solar panels, not by heat. So really hot temperatures offer no benefit to users.
