    • Check for Error Codes or changes in the inverter lights; these could be signs that something is amiss and needs attention.

    • Use Solar Monitoring Technology whenever available from your solar equipment supply company. Whether they are apps or alert systems of any kind, they can help monitor performance and spot issues before they escalate.

Yes. Solar manufacturers have revealed that the imposition of Basic Customs Duty (BCD) on solar glass and anti-dumping duty on the same can prevent the availability of cheap solar glass for Indian solar manufacturers. Experts claimed that it would lead to a minor increase in solar panel prices on a per Watt basis. Although this will boost the demand for Indian solar glass makers like Borosil Renewables, this will affect the raw material cost for the solar module makers in India.

Around 30 Indian solar companies have announced setting up or expanding solar cell lines. If all announcements come true, India will have around 30 companies making solar cells by the end of 2027. The total production capacity from all these 30 companies is likely to touch 110 GW by the end of 2027.

For example-solar cells (mostly imported from China) are packed and connected in arrays, encapculants are used, solar glasses are used on the top and back to prevent from direct damage from water, cleaning and other threats. Silver pastes are also used in these modules. On the other hand, Alumunium frames are also used at the corners to make it easy to install and transport to give an additional sturdy support.

Installing a solar inverter with a higher capacity offers several advantages. Firstly, it provides flexibility to increase the DC capacity of the solar array in the future without needing to replace the inverter. This reduces the overall stress on the inverter components and lowers the probability of failures over time.

However, it’s important to note that installing a significantly higher capacity inverter than necessary is not always required. Most inverters are designed to operate efficiently even in higher ambient temperatures. However AC to DC ratio, typically ranging from 1:1 to 1:1.2, can be sufficient to ensure optimal performance and reliability without the need for excessive overcapacity in the inverter.
